Prompted brings free, hands-on AI education to public libraries across North Texas — so that learning to use AI well never depends on your age, your job, or your zip code.
AI tools became powerful faster than anyone taught people to use them. Students get exposure at school. Tech workers get it at their jobs. But everyone else — parents, grandparents, neighbors, small business owners — got left to figure it out alone, or worse, to be afraid of it.
Prompted started with one belief: learning to use AI well shouldn't depend on your age, your job, or your zip code. So we went to the one place every community already has — the public library — and made the training free.
Every workshop is hands-on. Participants don't watch a lecture about AI — they sit with a volunteer, open a real tool, and build something. They learn how to write better prompts, how to question what AI tells them, and how to use it safely at home.
That last hands-on hour is the whole point. Confidence isn't taught. It's practiced.

Every workshop is free, always. Held at public libraries because they're trusted, central, and open to everyone.
We cover data privacy, how to spot AI mistakes, and when not to trust an answer — from the very first session.
Nobody learns AI by watching slides. Participants build real things with a volunteer beside them the whole time.
Most AI education is built for people who are already comfortable with technology. Prompted is built for everyone else. Our volunteer-to-participant ratio is 1 to 2 or 3 — small enough that nobody gets left behind, and every question gets answered. We assume zero technical background and treat every participant like the intelligent, curious adult they are.
